Republicans are on the run with respect to their deeply unpopular and extreme agenda. Donald Trump is crashing the economy and marching the country toward a recession. At the same time, House Republicans are struggling to enact their reckless budget scheme that guts Medicaid and food assistance in order to hand massive tax breaks to their billionaire donors like Elon Musk. 

Washington, D.C. – Today, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries held a press conference where he emphasized that Rubber Stamp Republicans are leaving Donald Trump's extremism unchecked as he crashes our economy and raises the cost of living.

Washington, D.C. — This week, House Democrats’ Litigation and Rapid Response Task Force elevated their fight against the Trump Administration’s illegal attacks on the constitutional principle of birthright citizenship to the highest court in the land—filing an amicus brief for the  three birthright citizenship cases currently before the United States Supreme Court (Trump v. State of Washington, Trump v. CASA, Inc., and Trump v. State of New Jersey).
