LEADER JEFFRIES RESPONDS TO PRESIDENT TRUMP’S GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN RANT

Today, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries released the following statement:

Donald Trump and House Republicans are destroying Medicaid and Medicare, healthcare premiums are skyrocketing, millions of Americans are losing coverage and hospitals, nursing homes and community-based health clinics are closing throughout the country. House Democrats will not support a partisan Republican spending bill that continues to gut the healthcare of the American people.
