Today marks the 70th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision in Brown v. Board of Education, which struck down the shameful “separate but equal” doctrine established by Plessy v. Ferguson. 

Washington, DC – Today, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries held a press conference where he recognized Police Week and called on House Republicans to honor the members of law enforcement who risked their lives defending the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
