LEADER JEFFRIES ANNOUNCES PARLIAMENTARIAN OF STEERING & POLICY COMMITTEE

Today, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced the nomination of Congresswoman Sara Jacobs to serve as the Parliamentarian of the Steering and Policy Committee:

Congresswoman Sara Jacobs is an active legislator, trusted colleague and team player. Her leadership is respected on matters of importance both foreign and domestic. As the Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa and a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Jacobs has consistently put the safety, well-being and national security of the American people at the forefront of her work.

Rep. Jacobs will be another strong voice on the leadership team as we enter this critical year for the caucus, the Congress and the country. I thank Sara for taking on this important leadership position.
