Incoming Leader Jeffries Congratulates Ranking Members of Standing Committees

Washington, D.C. – Incoming Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries announced today that the Caucus has approved all of the Ranking Members of the standing committees for the 118th Congress.

“As we chart our path forward, it is crucial that we have strong, principled leadership at the helm of each of our committees. House Democrats have organized swiftly and I am proud to announce that we have approved all of our Ranking Members for the 118th Congress. 

These Members embody the diversity and dynamism of our Caucus and they each bring the expertise, creativity and vision necessary to steer the important work of these committees. I congratulate our Ranking Members and look forward to partnering with them as we fight for lower costs, better-paying jobs and safer communities for the American people.”

  • Ethics: Susan Wild of Pennsylvania 
  • Financial Services: Maxine Waters of California 
  • Foreign Affairs: Gregory Meeks of New York
